A Study of the Identity and Discourse Power of Nurturing Idol Fans Groups

This study explores the formation of internal discourse power fans, i.e., process identity acquisition and differentiation fans in community, through in-depth interviews online ethnography Teens Times (TNT) related super-groups. The case studies were conducted to explore external fan communities, proximity idols, ways, possibilities influencing corporate or idol decisions, involvement business practices. results show that: (1) class, power, responsibility are clearly differentiated determine their own status community based on circumstances; (2) is determined by class; (3) companies do not care much about fans' opinions due stickiness nurturing fans; (4) idols depend commercial value provided long-term.
